. At the time of birth of the girl child under CM Kanya Suraksha Yojana Fixed deposits of Rs2,000 are made on behalf of the Bihar Government in the name of the girl child in IDBI Banks.
. When the girl child completes 18 years of age, she is provided with the full amount of Fixed Deposits so that her higher education or marriage can be done with pomp and show and a bright future can be built for the girl child.
