Educational Qualification
Fresher Post:
- For Fitter & Welder (Gas & Electric): Applicants must have completed the 10+2 education system and passed the 10th class with at least 50% of the possible points. OR
- Candidates for the MLT position must have completed Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their 12th grade under the 10+2 educational system, with a minimum of 50% overall.
Ex-ITI Post:
Candidates must have completed an ITI course in a relevant trade that was approved by NCVT or SCVT and completed the 10th class under the 10+2 educational system with at least 50% of the possible points.
- Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 15 Years
- Maximum Age: 22-24 Years (Post Wise)
Extra Age Reduction under Southern Railway RRC SR Apprentice Regulations.
Age limit For Southern Railway Jobs
- Candidates must be at least 15 years old and should not exceed 22 years for Freshers or 24 years for those with ex-ITI or MLT qualifications.
Salary detail
- The stipend will be disbursed by the guidelines outlined in the Railway Board’s circular RBE 202/2019 dated 26.11.2019, as per the directives of the Ministry of Skill Development.
