Educational Qualification
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s Level in the relevant Branch.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry out with at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.
- At least 6 research publication at the level of Associate Professor.
- At least a total research score of 120 on the last date of the application of UGC regulation.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age Limit: 45 years
- Minimum Age Limit: 21 Years
- He or She must have been born not earlier than 17/04/1979 and not later than 16/04/2003
- The upper age limit prescribed above is relaxable by 05 years for candidates SC/ST/SEBC/Women and by 10 years for PwD.

Salary detail
- The selected candidates get a salary of Rs. 1,44,200/- per month.
Selection process
- Selection for direct recruitment to the rank of Assistant Professor (Stage-I) shall be made by the commission based on merit to be judged by performance in interviews of eligible shortlisted candidates.
- Based on the data provided by the candidates in their online application form, candidates shall be shortlisted for document verification in the ratio of 6 for vacancies more than 02, and for vacancies up to 2, the number of candidates to be called for document verification shall be 12.
- The Commission has decided that 03 times the number of vacancies shall be shortlisted for interview when the number of vacancies is more than 02. In cases, where there are only one or two vacancies, 10 candidates shall be shortlisted for interview.
