Educational Qualification
- Graduate Degree/ BE/ B.Tech in concerned subject with 1st Division with valid NET/ GATE qualification OR
- Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc.)
OR - Ph.D./ ME/ MTech/ Masters in concerned subject with 1st Division both at Graduate & Postgraduate level with NET/ GATE qualification

Age Limit
Interested Applicants should hold Indian nationality. The maximum age for JRF Applicants is 28 years and for Research Assistants is 35 Yrs. as mentioned by DRDO Recruitment Notifications. as of the final application deadline. However, there are provisions for age relaxation: 3 years for Other Backward Class Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) candidates, 5 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, and 10 years for candidates with benchmark disabilities (PwBD)
Salary detail
- As given in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates get a monthly payment for Junior Research Fellow is Rs. 37000/- and for the post of Research Associate (RA) is 67000/- per month.
Selection process
- The DRDO JRF Recruitment 2024 follows a two-step selection process. Initially, candidates undergo a Written Test to assess their knowledge and skills relevant to the specified roles.
