Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB):
After a friendly competition with his childhood friend Ishant Sharma from Delhi Capitals, Virat Kohli, the Famous player of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), had a Conversation with teammate Mohammed Siraj in the dressing room. This happened after RCB won the IPL 2024 match by 47 runs at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. In a video shared by RCB on their social media page, Siraj talked about the victory against Delhi, which boosted RCB’s chances of reaching the playoffs.
At one point, RCB was at the bottom of the points table with just one win in seven games. However, they climbed to the fifth position after winning five consecutive matches. Siraj was happier about the way Royal Challengers Bengaluru has been playing cricket recently than about the team’s improved chances of qualifying. However, his explanation during the dressing-room interview made Kohli laugh as he jokingly teased his teammate.
Here is how their conversation went.
Siraj: What a comeback! We only wanted to take it one game at a time. Qualification or the playoffs is not in our control. What is in our control is – fast bowlers have the balls, batters have the bat. All we have to do is attack. If we qualify, it’s very good. But we just want to continue playing this brand of cricket.
Kohli: (laughs) He is saying batter has a bat and bowler has a bowl
Siraj: The mindset is to take wickets, right?
Kohli: (laughs) Alag cricket chal rahi hai. Just say – ‘All I can see are stumps.’
Siraj: Siuuu
Kohli: (laughs) He is saying see you.
