Educational Qualification
Senior Residents (01 years): –
- Qualification & Experience – Candidates must have a PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university with 02 years of experience.
Full-Time Junior Specialist –
- Qualification & Experience – Candidates must possess a PG Degree or Diploma in a relevant specialty from a recognized University with 3 years of experience.
Full-Time Senior Specialist –
- Qualification & Experience – Candidates must possess a PG Degree or a Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university with 5 years’ experience post-PG.
Part-Time Specialist –
- Qualification & Experience – Candidates must possess a PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized University with 3 years’ experience after the PG Degree or 5 years’ experience after the PG Diploma.
Senior Resident (03 years): –
- Qualification & Experience – Candidates must have an MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/DNB or Diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognized University and must be registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
ESIC vacancy 2024: Age Limit
- For Specialists does not exceed 67 years on the date of the interview. (Relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex-serviceman as per rules).
- For Senior Resident Not exceeding 45 years on the date of interview (Relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex-serviceman as per rules).
Salary Detail
- The selected candidate will get a minimum salary of Rs. 67,700/- and a maximum of Rs. 1,43,731/-

Selection Process
- The selection of the candidates is based on their performance in the Walkin interview.
ESIC vacancy 2024: Application Fee
- For UR/ OBC category candidates: Rs. 300/-
- For SC/ ST category candidates: Rs. 75/-
- PWD & Female candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
How to Apply
- Candidates fulfilling educational qualification and other eligibility conditions should submit their application along with a set of self-attested copies of relevant documents (listed under Checklist on the last page) as Annexure ‘A’ available with this document.
- Candidates have to report on 15 February 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Conference Hall located on the first floor of ESIC Model Hospital, Bari Brahmana, Jammu.
- Documents will be accepted for strict scrutiny till 11:00 A.M. Only eligible candidates will be called for an interview.
