Educational Qualification
- Senior Resident: PG Degree/ Diploma or MBBS Degree from a recognized university with at least 2 years of working experience in the same discipline in which they are proposed to be engaged.
- Contractual Specialist: PG Degree/ Diploma in the concerned specialty and registered with the Medical Council of India.
Age Limit
- Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years, (Relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH as per rules).
- Contractual Specialist: Age not to exceed 69 years as of the date of interview.
Salary Detail
- Senior Resident: Rs. 121454/- fixed per month for candidate having PG/ Diploma. In addition to the pay, he will be entailed for transport allowance with DA on transport allowance as per rule. An amount of Rs. 1350/- will be deducted for S.R.s who possess only a Diploma and Rs.2250/- will be deducted if the S.R.s does not possess a Diploma/ Degree.
- Full-Time Contractual Specialist (FTCS): Rs. 121454/- fixed per month for candidates having PG/ Diploma. They will be entailed for transport allowance with DA on transport allowance as per rule. DA on transport allowance will be revised from time to time as per the rule.
- Part-Time Contractual Specialist (PTCS): Fixed Remuneration of Rs. 60,000 per month (As per HQ guidelines issued vide letter no. Z-17/11/1/2007/Med. IV (Pt. file), Dated 13.04.2022. (In Case of willingness for emergency call duty Rs. 15,000 Charges payable for Emergency visits, and Rs. 800/ hour will be payable for extra hours above 16 Hours in the week).
Selection process
- The selection of the candidates is based on their performance in the Walkin interview.

- Candidates fulfilling educational qualification and other eligibility conditions should submit their application along with a set of self-attested copies of relevant documents (listed under Checklist on the last page) as Annexure ‘A’ available with this document.
- Candidates have to report on 15 February 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Conference Hall located on the first floor of ESIC Model Hospital, Baribrahmana, Jammu.
- Documents will be accepted for strict scrutiny till 11:00 A.M. Only eligible candidates will be called for an interview.
