Inspired by ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started UP Ahilyabai Nishulk Shiksha Yojana. Through this scheme, the state government will provide free education to daughters till graduate level. Apart from this, they will also be given things like uniform, school bag, books and copies etc. free of cost. This year, a budget of Rs 21 crore 12 lakhs has been set under this scheme. Because there are many girls who want to get education but are not able to get education due to weak financial condition of their family. Now, through Ahilyabai Free Education Scheme Uttar Pradesh 2023, poor girls will be able to get absolutely free education till graduation level. Due to which the plight of girls in the state has increased.

UP Ahilyabai Nishulk Shiksha Yojana 2023 has been started by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the interest of daughters living below the poverty line of his state. Through this scheme, the state government will provide free education to eligible girls till they attain graduation degree. That is, all the education expenses of all eligible girls like fees, dress, uniform, books and other study material etc. will be borne by the state government. This scheme will improve the education level in the state.
UP Ahilyabai Nishulk Shiksha Yojna 2023-Eligibility
. Only girls are eligible to apply under Uttar Pradesh Ahilyabai Free Education Scheme.
. It is mandatory for the applicant girl to be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
. Only girls living below the poverty line are eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme.
. The applicant should have a bank account which is linked to Aadhaar card.

How to apply?
- First of all, students have to contact the administrators of their school/university/college.
- After this, the manager will get the student registered under the scheme. The entire process of registration will be done by the managers of the school/university/college only.
- After registering the name of the student, all her details will be sent to the Higher Education Department.
- After this, after verifying all the details, a list of names of the girl students to be benefited will be prepared by the Higher Education Department.
- Only those girls whose names will be included in this list will be provided free education under UP Ahilyabai Nishulk Shiksha Yojana 2023.
